Brian Acacio, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as in Obstetrics and Gynecology. A graduate of UC Irvine, Dr. Acacio received his medical education at George Washington University School of Medicine, and trained as a resident and fellow at USC. He is a Fellow at American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Los Angeles Obstetrical and Gynecological Society

As assistant clinical professor at USC and Loma Linda University, he has been actively involved in teaching and training other physicians over the years. He has also been teaching the OB/GYN resident physicians at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield for the past 8 years. Recently, Dr. Acacio opened his long-awaited satellite office in Bakersfield to provide outstanding local services to Bakersfield and the Central Valley.
Dr. Acacio is active in research and has over 30 publications and lectures in nationally recognized peer review journals and conferences. He donates his time to give presentations/lectures on areas of his expertise, on topics such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Recurrent Miscarriage, Male Factor Infertility, and Reproductive Surgery. He has been featured in interviews on National Public Radio (NPR) and KCAL 9 (a network television station in southern California) News.
Dr. Acacio is licensed to practice medicine in California, Hawaii and Nevada. He has earned medical staff privileges at some of the leading hospitals throughout southern California, including Mission Hospital (where he volunteered and worked in the pharmacy as a youth), South Coast Medical Center (where his wife, Lisa was born), Glendale Adventist Hospital, Kern Medical Center, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, and Mercy Southwest Hospital.
Dr. Acacio enjoys surfing, golf, art, reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
